Abstract & Presentations


CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Executive Committee invites submissions outlining original work aligned with the official conference themes. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee based on scientific merit and relevance to deep-sea water technologies.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Before submitting, please ensure your abstract complies with the following requirements:

  • Language: All abstracts must be written in English.

  • Length: Either short form (300 words) or extended format (2-pages) will be accepted.

  • Format: Abstracts can be sent as Word or PDF attachments.

  • Deadline: The deadline for abstract submission in September 15, 2026.

  • Author Details: For the main author and all co-authors, you must provide their information strictly using the following format:

    • Author 1: Name, Surname, Affiliation

    • Author 2: Name, Surname, Affiliation

    • Author 3: Name, Surname, Affiliation

STEP 2: SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

Submissions must be sent directly via email to admin@ocean-thermal.org. Please ensure your document is fully formatted according to our template before sending.


Authors will be informed promptly via reply email regarding the acceptance if their abstract.

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

We kindly request all presenters to strictly follow the time allocated for their sessions.

PLENARY / KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

  • Presentation: 30 minutes.

  • Q&A Session: 10 minutes.

ORAL PRESENTERS (PHYSICAL SESSION)

  • Venue: Assigned room during parallel sessions.

  • Duration: 15 minutes (10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A).

  • Format: PowerPoint (.pptx) - MS Office PowerPoint is highly recommended.

ORAL PRESENTERS (VIRTUAL SESSION)

  • Mode: Audio-recorded slideshow.

  • Duration: 15 minutes (10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A).

  • Format: PowerPoint (.ppt / .pptx) - MS Office PowerPoint is highly recommended.

Submission of PowerPoint presentations will be due November 15, 2026. PDF's will be shared with the participants unless you notify us you prefer not to be included.
You may also provide a separate version for distribution.
